Flowers for five-year old crash victim

Touching tributes have been left at the site of a horrific car crash which took the life of a five-year old boy and left three people injured on Saturday night.

 

Flowers tied to a barrier on the side of the road mark the spot where the collision took place at around 5.25pm on Saturday evening when a gold Citroen Saxo collided with a Red Nissan.

 

Mywelshpool has not released the name of the boy to allow the family some privacy at this tragic time and one of the three tributes simply reads: “Sleep tight little man”.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened less than 500 metres from the Buttington Cross roundabout heading north to Pool Quay. It resulted in the overnight closure of the road to allow police to launch their investigation.
