Council urgently needs more staff

Powys County Council urgently needs more staff as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Recruits are immediately required across a number of positions, with full training provided.

The council needs:

-          Waste and Recycling Operatives;

-          Reablement Support Workers

-          Domiciliary Care Assistants

-          Administrators - Adult Services

-          Care Assistants

-          Contact Officer ASSIST

-          Day Support Workers

-          Home Support Workers

-          Review Community Support Officers - Older People

Councillor Graham Breeze is the council’s Cabinet Member with responsibility for recruitment. He explained: “We urgently need more help as we are already starting to see staff shortages in some areas. Please don’t worry if you don’t have experience in these areas as full training will be given.”
