Appeal after town centre incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car allegedly reversed down the one-way system last night and struck a Polish woman outside the Town Hall.
The woman, who was said to be walking on the pavement, was taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries and police are investigating. A Welshpool man has been questioned in relation to the incident.
A police spokesperson said that it happened around 7.25pm and anyone with information should contact Welshpool Police on 101.
