Safe raided at Mellington Hall Hotel

An investigation is underway following a burglary at Mellington Hall Hotel in Churchstoke.
A safe containing a quantity of money was stolen from the hotel overnight on May 8.
“The safe contained a number of items including a passport, cheque books, money and bank account details,” said Sergeant Darren Brown. “If anyone has any information which could help with our inquiries please contact Newtown police on 101.”
