Building firm offers helping hand

A building contractor is offering to provide hands on practical assistance to one local organisation as part of its pledge to support the communities where it works.

Pave Aways Ltd is offering its services free of charge to help out with general building repairs, decorating or plastering at a village hall, community centre or sports club in the Welshpool area.

The firm is currently completing the build of the new 360-pupil Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School on behalf of Powys County Council.

Managing Director Steven Owen said: “We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work and would like to make a difference to one organisation that needs some help with their building.

“It might be a village hall that needs a lick of paint, a sports pavilion that needs some tlc or another building that provides facilities for local people in need of our skills.

“We are looking to pay something back to one organisation that is at the heart of its community and deserves our help.”

Any community organisation interested in working with Pave Aways should email michelle.benjamin@paveaways.co.uk with brief details of the organisation involved, the work required, a contact person and telephone number.
