“It’s one of those unfortunate accidents”

Emergency services and passers-by have been praised by a family involved in this accident close to Llansantffraid on Saturday afternoon.

Llanfyllin Fire Station posted this picture (right) of what they described as a “close call” on Winllan road, reporting that “all occupants (were) released and safe”.

Zoie Hipkiss commented on the post: “Can I just say thank-you to the fire brigade, police, paramedics and the passers-by who stopped to help my family in this accident.

“It’s one of those unfortunate accidents where no one was really to blame, the main thing is that everyone is OK. A car can be replaced but lives can’t!”

The accident happened about 3pm with crews from Oswestry joining the Llanfyllin fire team at the scene.
