Arts Society hopes for September return

After five months of inaction, the Arts Society Mid Wales and Borders are hoping to kick-start their autumn programme of meetings next month.

The plan is to welcome Dr David Bostwick to the Royal Oak on September 24 for a talk entitled ‘Misericords - The Medieval World Turned Upside Down’.

There is also an October 22 meeting in the diary when Matthew Williams will talk about ‘Burned, Bombed or Bulldozed - Britain's Lost Houses’.

Talks start at 2.30pm prompt, but due to the obviousl current climate, please check the meeting will go ahead by calling either Avril (01938 555938), Carole (01691 658110) or Dennis (01938 555574).
