Talking Newspaper still on hold

A vital service that reaches around 60 local people every week is still on hold due to the pandemic.

The Talking Newspaper supplies around 60 cassettes to blind or visually impaired ‘readers’ weekly to keep them up to date with local news and issues.

The editions are recorded by volunteers in Welshpool, but despite holding their annual meeting last week, the service is still awaiting the green light to re-start.
