Welshpool and the ‘Four Crosses & Guilsfield’ area have seen a sharp rise today in the number of positive cases recorded for Covid-19.

Public Health Wales report from their latest seven-day period (October 28-November 3), that the Guilsfield & Four Crosses area saw almost a quadrupling of positive cases, compared to yesterday’s figures, rising from just four to 14, meaning that 10 positive tests were returned on November 3 alone.

Llanfyllin & Llanwddyn’s number has more than doubled too for the period, from three cases yesterday to seven reported today.
