‘Recycled’ Christmas Window competition

Welshpool residents are being encouraged to use old Christmas decorations and/or recycled materials from around their home, to decorate their windows this Christmas and be in with a chance to win a Christmas hamper.

The competition will run from December 1-14 and anyone entering should contact Welshpool Town Council by either telephone (01938 553142) or email (kimberly@welshpooltowncouncil.gov.uk).

There will be a winner from each of the three town wards of Gungrog, Llanerchyddol and Castle.

If circumstances allow, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will judge in person, but if not, those participating should send in a picture of their window.

A member of Welshpool Town Council staff will be happy to do this if you are unable.

The winners will receive a Christmas hamper and a medal.
