The No. 76 bus service that links rural communities to Welshpool has added a supermarket stop to its route.
The Monday-Saturday service run by Tanat Valley Coaches departs from Llanrhaeadr and picks up at a number of stops including Llanfyllin, Llansantffraid, Meifod and Guilsfield on its way to town.
It will now end its run next to Tesco following its town centre stop, and also start its return from the same spot.
“During this unsettling time, we understand it may be more difficult to get out to the shops for essential shopping,” said a spokesperson.
“This is why we have extended our Service 76 timetable, to include new drop off and pick up points at Welshpool Tesco so you can shop (in that area) as safely as possible.”
