DPD silence over Charanjit campaign
Mr Singh has been delivering cheer and happiness alongside his parcels over the past three years, making him Welshpool’s favourite adopted son.
But, earlier this week, upset residents contacted us to say that he was being switched to an alternative route.
The same thing happened last year, but a big campaign supported by us prompted the firm to make a u-turn and keep Mr Singh on the Welshpool route.
However, this year, despite two requests for a comment, we have not heard back from the company HQ, yet.
Mr Singh’s work was recognised by his bosses last year (pictured).
