Offa’s Dyke fly tip shame - again!

The situation at a notorious fly-tipping hot spot close to one of our favourite locations appears to have worsened over the past few weeks.

Local walker and freelance writer Clive Williams, told us that he came across this awful scene on the Offa’s Dyke path close to the Beacon Ring yesterday.

“It is shameful,” he told us. “A very sad sight to see this afternoon.”

The area is accessible by a small lane and has become a popular dumping spot in recent years, with the council cleaning up several times previously.

Powys County Council said they are looking into the issue.
