Woman Seeks Cancer Support Walkers
A Welshpool cancer survivor is seeking team members to compete in the Relay For Life in support of Cancer Research.
Karen Moore has eneterd a team in the Relay For Life at Shrewsbury Athletic Club on September 11 and needs more team members.
"There are 3 important parts to Relay For Life,the opening ceremony,the candle of hope ceremony,and the closing ceremony," she said.
"Anyone can register to walk this 22 hour relay,its for all the family.I have registered as Captain and need more walkers to complete the relay.There is currently 3 of us registered but we need more to help take strain of us.
Anyone interested needs to log on to www.CancerResearchuk.org/Relay , click on find team we are registered as Stepping Stones,and entry cost is £15. People dont need to do the complete 22 hours as little as they want.
