Police probe “disgusting” graveyard video

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating anti-social behaviour at a Welshpool graveyard after a bizarre video was posted on Snapchat appearing to show a teenager disrespecting a grave.

The shocked family of the grave concerned described the video as “disgusting” and asked “why us?” and the local force said that their enquiries were ongoing.

The video, seen by MyWelshpool, shows a teenager laughing with the cameraman as he appears to draw from a ‘rollie’ cigarette before leaving it on the grave's headstone and directing an offensive comment towards the deceased person.

Last night a police spokesperson told us: “Police received a report on Tuesday evening of anti-social behaviour in Maesgwastad Cemetery, Welshpool, in the last few days. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
