All systems go for Jubilee Carnival

Welshpool Town Council said preparations for the return of a street parade and carnival are coming together well for Sunday.

It is hoped that the event will bring the town together for a huge celebration, with a parade through the town centre from noon for a 1pm start at Maes-y-Dre.

Confirmed attractions for the day include: Fun fair rides and attractions

• Donkey ride (for only £1 per child)
• Walking rugby
• Savage Skills, display bike specialists
• Bouncy castle and inflatables
• Stage performers
• Food stalls, including, Pick & Mix, Hot & cold food, donuts, hot baps, cakes, and a range of alcohol options including cocktails.
