Charity Funday raises £40K

 

Last weekend’s event in Churchstoke attracted people from across Mid Wales and Shropshire and despite the hard economic times, a bumper amount of cash was raised.

 

Richard Whittall, Operations Director and event coordinator “Thank you to our suppliers, local business, our staff, volunteers, exhibitors, customers and visitors; we just couldn’t raise this sort of money, all for local charities, without your support”.

 

Annually the event raises thousands of pounds for charity and proceeds are distributed to local organizations and charities in the surrounding areas of Harry Tuffins supermarket locations.
