The Market Village at Welshpool Town Hall will host a ‘Birds of Prey’ display this weekend from Mid Wales Falconry.
The display will be a prelude to a craft week starting on Tuesday which will run through until Friday with additional stalls in the Market Village selling hand painted cards, hand-made Jewellery, silk floral arrangements and Forever Living Products all in addition to the usual stalls and shops, café and attractions.
Mid Wales Falconry was started as a part time venture in 2000 and provides numerous falconry activities, demonstrations, and outside events seven days a week, all year round. Based on a five hundred acre farm in Mid Wales and only open by appointment, they offer an exclusive introduction to the world of falconry.
The display will feature falcons, owls, hawks and vultures and will be set up from 10am. Experienced falconers will be there to answer any questions posed by the public and will staff the display throughout the event.
