No takers for Gentlemen’s Club... yet!

Auctioneers say they were “surprised” that the premises for the former Gentlemen’s Club in New Street did not reach its reserve price at Saturday’s auction.
But Jim Mason, of Harry Ray and Co, said that there is still plenty of interest in the property valued at £55k.
“There has been a lot of interest shown since the auction and it is expected an acceptable offer will be made soon,” said Mr Mason. “The auction in general terms was a great success with the other three properties making or exceeding the guide prices.”
The club closed in March after suffering financial problems.
