RTC appeal: Police no longer looking for white car

Following yesterday’s appeal for information after it was reported that a white car left the scene of a two-car crash in Newtown, officers confirmed they have made contact with the driver.

The accident happened during a busy Bank Holiday Monday evening when the occupants of one of the cars needed medical treatment at the scene, but were OK.

“Following the appeal we sent regarding the RTC on New Road, Newtown, we can confirm that we have made contact with the driver of the white vehicle and are no longer appealing for information,” a Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said, giving no further information.
