More reports from ‘UFO’ night

04/10/2011 @ 02:21

A week ago, mywelshpool reported how strange lights were reported by a motorist as well as a Halfway House resident shortly before a tree fell (right) causing traffic chaos close to Trewern.

And after our appeal for more information, two more stunned residents have stepped forward to say they spotted strange happenings in the sky in different locations but close to the time of the incident on the same night.

The fallen tree closed the busy road at around 8.30pm, prompting one motorist to say that she saw a light following the road at around the same time. A separate resident reported a light ‘hovered’ over her house close to Halfway House too.

And since then, a motorist travelling towards Llanfair Caereinion close to the Golfa insisted that she even stopped her car after a light “shot across” the road in front of her shortly after 8pm.

Not wanting to be named, she recounted: “At around 8pm, my son and I drove up the Golfa bank and near the top I noticed a bright white light pass in front of us. I said ‘did you see that?’ and my son laughed and said yes. I thought I was seeing things. It appeared to land in a field on our right so we slowed down to see but couldn’t see anything so we continued home. I looked on Facebook to see if anyone else had seen anything. It was really unexplainable so I wasn’t surprised to read on mywelshpool that other people saw something that night too.”

A reader of our sister site mynewtown from Trefeglwys claimed she saw something from her home, again shortly after 8pm adding that she too went on Facebook to see whether anyone else had seen something.
