An elementary Victorian night my dear Watson

It’s not often that mywelshpool can help promote a night with a difference in the area but the Deerstalkers of Welshpool have come up with something truly unique!

The Deerstalkers, which is the local Sherlock Holmes Society, is hosting a Victorian Evening on Friday night (7pm) in conjunction with members from Guilsfield Church.

The evening’s entertainment includes a two-course meal served in Victorian style. There will be a Victorian quiz with multiple choice answers with a chance to win: First prize - £50 Coed-y-Dinas vouchers; Second prize - £30; and Third prize - £20.

There will also be a Victorian Music Hall sing-a-long with piano accompaniment as well and the village’s Old School will be decked out in a Victorian theme with a display of Victorian documents and newspapers.

Admission is by ticket only which are priced £10 and must be bought in advance from Roy or Joan on 01938 554840.
