Forecasters are predicting sunshine as Llanfair Caereinion's annual show opens the gates on a new venue today.
The event returns to the Banwy Valley for the 37th annual show organised by the local Agricultural & Horticultural Society on land owend by the Tudor family alongside the A458 at Llanerfyl.
Main attraction in the ring wil be the Flaming High Fall Show with Mark Stannage performing a daring 60ft dive covered in flames.
Mid Wales Falconry will be giving a show of their birds of prey and Andy Hancock, recently seen on TV's Country File will be demonstrating his art of carving with a chain saw.
Additional entertainment will come in the form of terrier racing with next year's show president Geraint Peate on the commentator's mike.
