Hunt still on for Xmas tyre slasher

Police are still asking for the public’s help in the search for a tyre slasher who ruined Christmas for a number of Welshpool families.
Someone went on the rampage on Christmas Eve, slashing tyres on 23 cars in the Gungrog Road and Welshpool Hospital areas with a knife.
And police have stepped up their search with another appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “Anyone with information can come forward and if they don’t want to speak to the police, the can contact Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111.”
