Three taken to hospital after collision

Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries following a two vehicle crash on the A458 with the B4392 junction to Guilsfield tonight, Wednesday, September 8.

Welshpool Police attended the collision at 7-45pm when a Peugeot and a Rover car were involved in the incident.  The occupants of the Rover were from the Berriew area and the occupant of the Peugeot from Welshpool.

"Disruption to traffic was kept to a minimum and those people whose journey was delayed are thanked for their patience," said a police spokesperson.  "Two local men, including Mr Jason Postlethwaite ,are thanked for their assistance at the road side; they moved the damaged vehicles off the main carriageway pending the arrival of the recovery service."
