Alex’s second date with Simon Cowell

Local musician Alex Davies has a date with Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) on Saturday night, meaning he will not now be performing in a concert at the Raven, Welshpool which takes place on the same night.
Alex received an overwhelming three yes’s from the BGT judges, which included Simon Cowell, at the Cardiff auditions last month and he now has a second date with destiny this weekend in London.
His big news though is a disappointment to local music fans, but the show will still go on as planned.
“We are thrilled for Alex but unfortunately it means Welshpool won’t have the opportunity to see his incredible talent on Saturday night,” said Dai Robs who headlines on Saturday with his band The Love.
Entry for the Raven concert is just £2.
