01/08/2012 @ 12:10

An inquest will be held in October following the death of Welshpool Airport owner and pilot Bob Jones.

Sixty year old Mr Jones and former EasyJet pilot Steve Carr, 55, from Ruthin, died on January 18, when the Piper Navajo plane they were flying in crashed on Long Mountain.

The Powys Coroner has announced that the inquest will be held in Welshpool on October 24.

Mr Jones, a farmer, founded the airport, built on his land in the early 1990s.
