Fancy a stroll? Walking group is back

Following a summer break, the Severn Valley Strollers recommence their walks tomorrow (Monday) through Powis Castle Park, and have also appealed for new leaders.

The walkers meet on Monday mornings at the Park Lane entrance at 10.30am for a stroll around the park which takes around an hour. The group stresses that walkers go at their own pace and it isn’t a race!

“There is an option of a short or longer walk,” said a spokesperson. “Make new friends and get some gentle exercise at the same time - you don’t even notice how far you are walking if you are chatting!”
