We go pink as April search goes on

 Mywelshpool has gone pink following the appeal by the family of Machynlleth's missing five year old April Jones.

As the search went on through the night the town went pink following a family appeal for everyone to wear and display the toddler's favourite colour.

Specialist teams worked through the night in torrential rain refusing to give up hope.

Abduction suspect Mark Bridger remains in custody in Aberystwyth and police have until 5pm to either charge or release the well known Machynlleth man. They also have one last chance to go back to magistrates for a 24hour detention extension.

Today's newspapers brand the searchers as 'April's Army' and also contain appeals from her 16 year old sister for anyone with information to come forward.
