Fire fighters clean up with £300 for charity

Fire fighters from Welshpool Fire Station (right) managed to raise an impressive £300 following their charity car clean at the weekend.

The lads took part in an area wide drive to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity and were supported by large numbers from the town who turned up at the station to make donations in return for a quick car clean.

A spokesperson said: “The lads at Welshpool Fire Station would like to thank the people of Welshpool for turning up and supporting the car clean which has raised some valuable funds for a worthwhile charity.”
