Floods hit Welshpool area again

Welshpool is today on flood alert with the Severn and Vyrnwy rivers both breaking their banks after two days of heavy rain.
Motorists and farmers were being warned as the worst floods of the winter so far caused overnight chaos.
The Forden road alongside The Montgomeryshire Airport was under deep water and minor roads all around the area were causing problems.
Farmers were being forced to move animals to higher ground with the Llanymynech and Llansantffraid areas experiencing some of the bigger problems.
