Police appeal for lost package owner

Welshpool police are trying to identify the owner of a package which fell from a car driving through the town close to midnight on Friday night.

Inspector Diane Davies said, "I believe the loser was a woman driving a small car. She opened and shut her door as driving past and I saw something drop onto the road which I picked up, she had long gone though.

"Someone, somewhere knows they have lost something and I am keep to return the package to its rightful owner," she said.

The loser of ther package should make contact with Inspector Davies at Welshpool Police Station.
