Fire fighter volunteer to tackle marathon

A volunteer at Welshpool Young Fire Fighters will run the London Marathon in aid of Children with Cancer UK.

Bev Roberts is a helper with the group and has been motivated to run the marathon by two inspirational characters that have overcome their battle with leukaemia and cancer, Jack Owen and Corbin Bowen.

Bev will be supported by Welshpool Young Fire Fighters who will be holding a car wash and cake stall on Saturday from 10am at Welshpool Fire Station.
