20/10/2010 @ 10:22

Speaking at the event, before unveiling the Welsh slate plaque to declare the building open, the Rural Affairs Minister, Elin Jones, said: “I acknowledge the good work NFU Cymru does on behalf of its members and this new NFU Cymru office in Welshpool will provide a vital service to farmers in the area. This investment is also an indication of the confidence NFU Cymru has in the future of Welsh agriculture.
“I wish all the staff and customers to this new NFU Cymru office my best wishes for a successful and prosperous future.”
Montgomeryshire NFU Cymru County Chairman, David Jones said: “The new office is much bigger to accommodate NFU Cymru’s expanding business here in Welshpool. It is also conveniently located in the town centre and is within walking distance from Welshpool’s main car parks. This will all mean a much better and more flexible service for NFU Cymru members and insurance customers.”
