Air show programme confirmed

Welshpool is set to host a thrilling day of action when the Bob Jones Memorial Air Show is held on June 9.

The Red Arrows may have priced themselves out of appearing, but the RAF has still come up trumps with a number of top attractions confirmed.

“Once more the RAF form the core of our display this year,” said Town Clerk Robert Robinson. “Sadly, we are unable to afford the Red Arrows but we believe we have produced an exciting mix of displays that will appeal to air enthusiasts and visitors alike. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors who have enabled us to put together this year’s show.”
