Panto tickets go on sale

Tickets have gone on sale for the hilarious version of Cinderella visiting Welshpool on Tuesday, November 23.

Tickets are priced at £5.00 for front seats with children and concessions at £3.50,while rear seats are priced at £3.50 with children and Concessions at £2.00. They are available from the Town Clerk’s Office, from 9.30am-2pm, Monday to Friday (01938 553142) or the Tourist Information Centre, from 9.30am-5pm Monday to Saturday or Sundays 10am until 4pm 01938 552043.

A well-loved tale, Cinderella is set in the present day with Cinderella and Prince Charming, older and bankrupt, touring village halls trying to earn a living with an old karaoke machine. Throughout the evening, with the wisdom of hindsight, they tell their story through re-enactment, dance and hits of the 1970s.

The production is being brought to Welshpool by the Fairgame Theatre Company, part of the Gloucestershire Theatre Network, in conjunction with the Welsh Arts Council “Nights Out” scheme. It is a physical theatre company with an emphasis on original live music, creating entertaining and thought provoking work in theatres and community venues as well as issue-based work for schools and community groups.
