Care home fire causes evacuation

Dozens of residents were evacuated from a care home in Welshpool on Sunday evening after a fire broke out in the laundry room.
The fire started at Llys Hafren residential home in Severn Road, Welshpool, at 10pm and firefighters used a hose to tackle to the small fire which caused minimal damage.
None of the residents were injured as a result of the blaze.
