Weather claims one Monday school closure

As local temperatures are expected to plummet below -10 tonight, one school has already confirmed it will be closed tomorrow (Monday).

Thankfully, no further snow has fallen today but burst pipes are believed to be the reason why Ysgol Rhiw Bechan, which receives some children from the Llanfair area, has been closed.

With the cold snap expected to continue this week, mywelshpool will bring you an update each evening by 10pm in co-ordination with Powys County Council.
