Flash re-opens after ceiling collapse

The Flash has re-opened this morning after a burst pipe caused the leisure centre’s main entrance ceiling to collapse.

The incident happened at around 12.10pm yesterday, and The Flash remained closed for the rest of the day as the clear-up operation took place as well as making sure the centre was safe.

A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: “The centre opened this morning at the usual time but the main entrance remains closed but an alternative side access to the centre has been put into place and signposted accordingly. 

“TumbleTowers, at the centre, has also closed because of the burst pipes. We're hoping that the main entrance and TumbleTowers will re-open on Wednesday once the clean-up has been completed.”
