Each of the six Montgomeryshire party candidates will be allocated 25 minutes to win over voters in the Town Hall so expect some feisty discussion.
“The timing of the Hustings couldn’t be better,” said Town Clerk Robert Robinson who is chairing the evening. “I urge the town to come down and listen to what each candidate has to offer. It is the last chance before voting the next day.
Each candidate would be asked to address the three set questions first, then asked to deliver a five minute speech. Finally they would then take questions but all would need to be within the 25-minute limit.
The draw was made at a Town Council meeting with Jane Dodds (Lib Dem) going first and Labour’s Martyn Singleton closing proceedings.
