Welshpool to host big music festival

Huge crowds are expected to cram into a number of venues across Welshpool on Sunday for what promises to be the town’s biggest Music Festival to date.

Local bands and solo artists are listed alongside a number of acts travelling into Welshpool with the free extravaganza hosting live music all day and evening.

Billed as “from rock to folk and everything in between” orgainsers promise something for everyone with the 10 hours of music kicking off at 2pm.

“Our aim is to provide a comprehensive day of musical entertainment to suit every age group and every style, the seed was planted last year and now we want to see it grow into something totally unique placing Mid Wales and Welshpool firmly onto the musical map,” said lead organiser Kuldip Caberwal.

“Come and join us, relax and have fun and remember, Monday is also the town’s carnival day so for people travelling in why not stay over and enjoy a long weekend.”
