Missing teen spotted

Police are still trying to track down teenager Jayden Cope who went missing from his Welshpool home on June 10.

This morning West Midlands Police confirmed that the 14-year-old has been spotted recently around Wolverhampton but added that he “remains elusive” and that “further lines of enquiry are being investigated at the moment”.

Jayden (pictured) is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, of a large build, with short brown hair.

Police said the youngster has gone missing before, but this is the longest time he’s been missing and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We just need to know that he’s safe and well and would urge anyone who sees him – or knows his whereabouts – to call us on 101,” said a spokesperson.
