Surely it’s not THIS cold?

It’s time to put a smile on the faces of people from the Welshpool area!

 

We’re all a bit fed up now of the freezing weather but Christmas is just around the corner and readers have been getting into the festive spirit this week.

 

Can you better the pictures that we have received from readers who have been emailing their silly snow snaps?

 

The staff at Health Focus in Canal Yard sent in the picture of ‘penguins’ trying to find a part of the canal that was not frozen over. Unfortunately by the time mywelshpool arrived to investigate, they had already gone!

 

Meanwhile, Rob Spragg and friends (right) showed that the myth of cold weather’s affect on certain body parts can’t be true after all with their ‘interesting’ giant sculpture created in the snow of Guilsfield (remember, we did warn you!).

 

It may be cold, but a snow sheikh appeared, also in Guilsfield, in honour of Qatar winning the right to host the 2022 World Cup!
