Table sales are tops

Community groups in the Welshpool area or individuals wanting to raise some extra Christmas cash are being invited to take part in the upcoming table top sales.

Organised by Welshpool Town Council, the next two sales take place on October 17 and November 14 in the Town Hall’s Corn Exchange.

Positioned as a ‘like a car boot, only inside’ tables cost only £5 with organisations, charities, schools or individuals all welcome.

Doors open to the public at 9am until around 1pm. It is free for anyone to go in and with teas and coffees available, this always proves a popular event.

“There will be more Table Top Sales held in the New Year so, if you need to help recover some of the expenses spent over Christmas, have any unwanted presents or need to make space for the new gifts received, why not have a table at one of the Table Top Sales, being held on January 16 and February 20,” said a spokesperson.
