Plans revealed for 16 new Welshpool homes

Plans to develop 16 new homes in Welshpool have been revealed by Mid Wales Housing Association.

And the developers are offering Welshpool residents the opportunity to view the plans and comment on the proposed town-centre development before the final planning application goes to Powys County Council.

Mid-Wales Housing Association, in partnership with Mid-Wales Property Ltd, are providing an opportunity for the public to view and comment on plans to develop 16 new properties in Welshpool before the submission of a planning application to the local planning authority.

The proposed development involves the demolition of Lansdowne House on Chapel Street in order to develop a new three-storey extension to William Ainge Court, providing 16 new apartments.

The development involves the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the Association's existing properties on William Ainge Court improving the accessibility and energy efficiency of those properties.
