Forden are in the hunt for a new manager as they launch their bid for promotion to the Spar Mid Wales League following the resignation of player/boss Neil Breeze.

Breeze stood down this week after leading the villagers to the Amateur League Mitsubishi Division Two title with club chairman Mike Evans issuing a glowing tribute.

“The committee and I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Neil Breeze for all the effort and hard work that he has put into the club over the last three years,” said Mr Evans.

“It is a great shame that we are losing Neil after re-forming the club and putting Forden back on the map but we all wish him all the best in his next venture.

“We are on the hunt for a new manager that will be able to build on Neil's hard work and push our highly ambitious club forward. We are hoping that we will be in the Mid Wales League this coming season which is a first in the club’s history so we are looking for someone to take us to the next level and have the passion to drive us forward.

“We have achieved great things over the past three years and lifting the league title this year was the icing on the cake for everyone involved at the club. The door will always be left open for Neil to return to which ever role he desires.”

Applicants are to contact Mike Evans on 07801184370
