Llanfyllin take control

Llanfyllin sit atop the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire Amateur League Honda One table after an 8-0 trouncing of Llanymynech maintained their winning start to the season.

The town side made it three wins from three against a Llanymynech outfit still searching for their first point.

Waterloo Rovers opened their account back in the amateur league for their rebuilding season with a 2-1 win at Berriew Reserves.

In the League Cup, there were round one wins for Maesyrhandir, Meifod, Caersws Reserves and Trewern (after penalties).
