It was a thrilling weekend of football in the Montgomeryshire Amateur League as Llanidloes opened up a six-point gap in Division One and Welshpool Reserves slipped up in Division Two.
Bottom club Berriew Reserves put up a great fight when they hosted leaders Llanidloes Reserves but eventually went down 2-1.
Waterloo Reserves opened up a 3-1 half time lead against Carno Reserves who eventually fought back to win 4-3. Rob Jones, Darren Gill and Joe Beddoes were on the mark for Waterloo.
In Division Two, leaders Technogroup Welshpool Reserves went down 3-2 at Llanfechain to throw the title race wide open. Kerry Reserves went down 5-0 at home to Morda Reserves.
