Berriew book final spot

Berriew stayed on track for some silverware this season by thumping Spar Mid Wales League rivals Carno in the League Cup semi-final today.

Playing at an impressive looking Montgomery ground Berriew were too good on the day and stormed to a 4-0 over the side that pipped them to league runners-up honours.

There was disappointment for Churchstoke, who lost 3-1 to Aberystwyth University in the ER Jenkins Cup Final.

Llanrhaeadr beat Llanidloes 2-1 in the first division.
