The exciting goal scorer was strongly linked with a move to Guilsfield after scoring in their 1-0 friendly win over Newtown pre-season, but Thomas has decided to remain loyal to Berriew.
“He is quick, very fit, good in the air and scores goals so the club is delighted that Will has decided to stay,” said manager Russell Cadwallader. “I am not surprised a lot of clubs were looking at him because we know how good he is. He will be one of the top players in the Mid Wales league this season.”
Thomas’s decision to stay was a relief to Cadwallader who has lost goalkeeper Lee Andrew as well as Oswestry-based players Joe Coulson and Mike Harris.
